Invest Lake District are a Lake District Foundation venture. We link green investors with high quality environmental projects in the Lake District and Cumbria to ensure that investment creates maximum impact where it is most needed. The Lake District Foundation is a registered charity (1174201) based in the Lake District. We fund, collaborate with and inspire individuals, businesses and community organisations to look after Cumbria and the Lake District.We support the delivery of the shared aims of the Lake District National Park Partnership, and we are the main fundraising and grant-making partner.

Our ambition is for the Lake District to become the best National Park in the world, inspiring others, through sustainable development in action.
